The laminate forms a spectacular and high -quality flooring. The assembly system is incredibly simple, so even a novice master will easily master it.
Laminate installation procedure
First of all, the clean concrete screed is covered with special waterproofing. Then comes the turn of laying foamed polyethylene. Typically, the start of work is made from the brightest place in the room, which is the window opening.
The first lamella is placed in the corner of the room near the window. It is separated from the wall with pegs. Then a number of integral stripes to the very end are laid.
Lameli are connected using special grooves. The exactly laid the next lamel at the minimum angle is reliably built into the already mounted “neighbor”.
The second row should start with a segment, which often remains from the previous row. In this case, its length should be at least 30 centimeters. Otherwise, the required length should be cut off from the new lamella.
You need to know that when laying the second row, locks with the first row can not snap. This process is carried out only after the entire second row is finalized. Then it is slightly recalculated above the floor surface and fixed to the end into the lock, and then clicks throughout the row.
This method closes the entire necessary area of the floor.
Mounting of the laminate diagonally
Some masters prefer to buy a laminate and place it in a diagonal direction. This technique visually extends the spatial boundaries of the room and is an exclusive method for decorating the floor surface. However, such a styling technique requires more lamellas (about 8 percent).
With such styling from the corner, also located at the window, you should stretch a thin rope at right angles to the wall surfaces. In this rope, in the future, the master will hold the correct landmark, and align the placed lamellas.
At the first strip, the edge should be cut strictly at right angles. Then it is placed in the corner and the wedges are mounted for the formation of a miniature thermal space. Next, you should use a pair of laminate stripes and place them with such a manner that their connection to each other is directly in the middle of the first row. In this case, the edges cut at right angles should be located against the wall where there is a gap.
In this way, all other stripes are laid.
