Moreover, interest in this type of product does not fall even despite its high cost. After all, each person understands that quality can be paid. Such a rule will be fair in any field, in relation to any material.

Considering flooring, a vivid example of excellent quality and strength is a parquet board. This type of finish will be the best choice for an apartment or house. Having put carefully processed woody planks in your rooms, you will get not only a beautiful decor element, but also a strong, durable floor. Parquet is made of natural wood of various varieties. You do not have to completely replace the flooring, after several recovery procedures, the floor will be like a brand new.

Parquet repair process

In the production of planks, natural wood is used. Oak is considered the most popular raw materials for the manufacture of this flooring. Due to its properties, this type of wood to suffers sharp temperature changes, has an increased level of moisture protection, has a more persistent color. However, despite the advantages of oak, most wood species are also well suited as the basis for the planks.

Parquet is equally easy to repair, regardless of wood breed, the technology of its creation took into account the possibility of restoring the material. So, in almost every bar there is a working layer about 6 mm thick, which can be removed during special procedures without negative consequences for the integrity of the entire structure.

The list of procedures for restoring such a flooring is quite wide, but perhaps one of the most popular processing methods is the restoration of parquet. This process is carried out both while laying a new coating, and to remove various damage on the old material.

The described procedure is carried out by removing the upper working layer of the material. About 1 millimeter of wood is removed at a time from the floor surface. Initially, the thickness of the entire working layer is about 6 millimeters, which allows you to carry out about 6 recovery procedures without fear. If you decide to process planks from above the recommended number of times, the risk of damage to the material during the parquet cycle increases significantly.
