How much does the installation of wooden windows cost

  • January 28, 2019

Designs of natural materials are popular both because of their pleasant appearance, and thanks to excellent operational characteristics. Know how much the installation of wooden windows costs, if only because independent attempts of installation can cost expensive. The help of specialists in this matter is invaluable, but costs certain money. Let’s try to figure out what the cost of the service is formed from.

Most firms include the price of installation directly in the cost of the design itself. That is, the buyer receives:

Wooden window, castings and window sills;

delivery (sometimes can be paid separately);

dismantling of old structures;

installation of new ones;

installation of castings and window sills.

It is clear that, depending on the type of window, its cost changes. But the price of the installation of wooden windows is more or less constant. When calculating it, they usually focus on 1,200-1,400 rubles per square meter. Turnkey installation costs about 3,000 rubles. Compared to plastic designs, the rated rates are approximately 20% -40% higher. Contractors explain this by the fact that it is somewhat more difficult to work with the fasteners of wooden products. Although, for example, in Moscow, some firms set the price of wooden windows separately. The Delini Group of Companies is ready to dismantle old designs for free, but for installing each new one takes 2,000 rubles from the client. Similarly, with plaster slopes: the installation of internal – 800 rubles per meter, external – 600. For a linear meter of wooden slopes with a platband will have to pay 1250 rubles.

What is in trend today?

Since we figured out that the installation process is included in the price of the design itself, let’s analyze the dependence between the cost of the window and the material from which it is made.

The most expensive is oak. It is considered one of the best options, since it is not prone to decay, has an excellent texture, talked. A few years after installation, brand new structures will darken a little and will look even more noble. One oak window costs about 17,000 rubles.

The cheaper pine products are cheaper. At all times, it was considered the most affordable material. Today the situation in this regard has not changed, and customers are offered windows, the price of which is 10,000 rubles per structure. Pine is inherent in qualities such as strength, lightness, accessibility, high resistance to wear.

The larch has established itself well. It is approximately a third of the stronger pine and more fire -resistant. The only minus compared to pine windows is the price of 11,000 rubles. But the larch can not be treated with antiseptic compounds: it will not rot over the years.

The most “young” material in the market of window structures is Meranti. Durability, aesthetics, reliability – these are the main advantages of the breed. Buyers choose Mezranti for the simple reason that it perfectly emphasizes the interior of any room. At the same time, they pay 12,000 rubles per window.

Of course, it is better to purchase window products from organizations with their own production.

As you can see, the cost of the installation is an indicator, the average size of which is quite difficult to derive. You can focus on the average market value mentioned above. Although it is more advisable in each case to clarify it from the window supplier in advance. In order not to pay extra for each installed handle or for the remoteness of your apartment from the office of the contractor,.
